Basic Installation Spec
PERFECT CABINS BASIC INSTALLATION - SCHEDULE OF WORK
1. Install bearers to customer's correctly prepared base.
2. Install first logs checking the diagonals, attach to bearers with screws.
3. Build up walls using plans until window height, inserting doors when appropriate.
4. Install windows and build up to eaves height.
5. Build up apexes to ridge height.
6. Install the roof purlins.
7. Install roof boards to purlins with nails.
8. Attach eaves facia boards.
9. Install roof shingles to roof boards with clout nails.
10. Install floor boards to bearers with nails.
11. Attach all window strips to window frames.
12. Attach facia boards to apexes and roof.
13. Check windows and doors open correctly.
14. Seal where apexes meet the roof boards with silicone sealant or trims if supplied.
